I've always believed that art is a bridge between worlds. Growing up between Tunisia, Norway, and now Canada, I've been shaped by a blend of cultures, traditions, and stories that continue to inspire my work. I'm Kaïs, an artist whose journey is rooted in architecture and urban design, but driven by a dream I've held since childhood: to become a movie director. Now I'm finally pursuing it, with a deeper curiosity about visual storytelling and creative collaboration.
For me, every piece I create is an exploration of narrative, culture, and the craft of bringing stories to life. My thesis project "Garbage Land" reflects this drive to use creativity as a catalyst for change, proposing revolutionary solutions to waste management challenges in North Africa. I draw on the richness of my experiences, whether it's collaborating across cultures or weaving visual narratives that speak to universal human experiences, to create work that resonates beyond the surface. My approach centers on sparking conversation, connection, and authentic storytelling.
Through creative collaboration, I hope to contribute to Canada's vibrant cultural sector while continuing to explore the stories that connect us all.
